Larry D. Thomas, a member of the Texas Institute of Letters and the 2008 Texas Poet Laureate, has published fourteen collections of poems. His two most recent collections, The Skin of Light and Wolves, were published in 2010 by Dalton Publishing (Austin) and El Grito del Lobo Press (Fulton, MO), respectively. A Murder of Crows, his fifteenth poetry collection, is forthcoming from the Virtual Artists Collective in 2011. Among the numerous prizes and awards he has received for his poetry are the 2004 Violet Crown Award, 2003 Western Heritage Award, and two Texas Review Poetry Prizes (2001 and 2004).
