Elizabeth Raby’s new book of poems, Ink on Snow, was published by Virtual Artists Collective in January 2010. The collective also published her collection, The Year the Pears Bloomed Twice, in 2009. Raby’s poem, "Bride-to-Be," won the 2010 Kelton Contest at the Angelo State University Writers Conference where she was a featured reader. She was also a featured reader in April, 2010 at the Scissortail Festival, East Central University, Ada, Oklahoma. Ms. Raby is a member of the board of New Mexico Literary Arts. She and her husband conduct a monthly open poetry reading at Tribes Coffee House in Santa Fe. She has participated in the New Mexico Women Authors' Book Festival as a reader and as a workshop presenter.

In addition to her poetry, Elizabeth has written articles for Vermont History, Nebraska History, and her articles about the teaching of writing to children have been anthologized in Sing the Sun Up, Creative Writing Ideas from African American Literature and in Old Faithful--18 Writers Present Their Favorite Writing Assignments, both published by Teachers and Writers Collaborative.
