Emily Borenstein, winner of the Jewish Currents Poetry Award, has published three collections and three chapbooks of poetry. Her poetry, especially on the Holocaust, has appeared in numerous anthologies. A Julliard-trained musician and a practicing psychologist (until 2006),Emily brought her sensitivity to the human condition and to our speech rhythms to her poetry. Timberline publish four of her books—two chapbooks (Woman Chopping and From a Collector’s Garden) and the original Night of the Broken Glass (1981) and its revised and extended twenty-fifth anniversary edition, Night of the Broken Glass and Transformations (2007).
