One Response to Michael Higgins review of Cormorants, by Jonas Zdanys

  1. Clarence Wolfshohl says:

Higgins’s comments on the poetry are insightful. The poems are masterful. But Higgins’s comments fail to comment on the fullness of the book. Not to take anything from Zdanys’s poetry, but I must add that the book is a beautiful example of bookmaking. Thirty-five copies of the 125 copy edition are printed on handmade paper, and all copies are printed by handset letterpress that is crisp and as masterfully done as the poetry.
