William Heyen is a renowned man of letters, being a major American poet for over thirty years. Among his many collections of poetry is Shoah Train (2004), which was a finalist for the National Book Award. Timberline has published three chapbooks by Heyen -- Annuli (2001), Menagerie (2005), and The Devil’s Song (2007).
